The dread Necronomicon — The Book of Dead Names — whispered of throughout
history and made popular by pulp horror author H.P. Lovecraft; filled with
sonic "keys" that open gateways in between the spaces we know, where the
mysterious Great Old Ones, with unpronounceable names like "Cthulhu", wait
to walk the earth again; few know the book's secrets and fewer still can
produce a copy. It is rumored, however, that a certain rock band out of the
Fraser Valley in British Columbia have access to this, and other forbidden
tomes — or at the very least, access to the internet.
Now is the time to enjoy Great Old Ones, with the Hurts Like Hell tracks
"Tarred and Feathered," "My Tank," "Batttered," "One-Gilled Girl," "Jimmy
the Squid," "Chunk," and "Diggin' Up the World," plus the 'Riffo tracks
"Colour Me Green," "Space Ghosts," "A Thousand Fists," "Big Robot Dinosaur,"
"Rocket Science," "Flee!" "Mustard Gas," "Everyone Calls Me Ted," "Diggin'
Up the World (Acoustic)," and "Yog-Sothoth," PLUS two LIVE tracks,
"Hookworm" and "Burrow Your Way to My Heart," PLUS three BRAND NEW SONGS,
"Please God No," "Walking On the Moon," and "Six-Gun Gorgon Dynamo"
